Industry Trend: Business Intelligence
Business challenges led Saudi Arabian Airlines to embrace business intelligence. Located in 60 cities around the world, in more than 5,000 offices, Saudi Arabian Airlines implemented all new operational systems, marketing systems, sales systems, back office systems; however, all those systems were producing isolated reports, isolated information, that was taking too long to produce.
SITA helped upgrade Saudi’s network infrastructure, giving them the opportunity to collect and share the reports and information under one umbrella, in a single consolidated data warehouse. This integration and consolidation of information allows Saudi Arabian Airline’s management to assess how the operation is performing, whether the airline is moving in the right direction, operating the correct flights, offering the right products, and have the right pricing strategies.
